Dr. Reed is our newly appointed Medical Director of Eldorado Animal
Hospital. He comes to us from our sister hospital, Valley
Animal Medical Center in Indo; where he has been an Associate DVM
since 2004.
Dr. Reed received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1993 from
Texas A&M University. Prior to attending veterinary school, he
was a teacher, wildlife biologist, and environmental policy analyst,
including work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, World
Wildlife Fund, and the National Zoo.

Dr. Peter Eddy, DVM
 |
Dr. Eddy obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tufts
University in 1985. Prior to entering the veterinary program
at Tufts, Dr. Eddy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology
from Trinity College, and was a member of the Dean's List.
Dr. Eddy entered practice as a Staff Veterinarian in Massachusetts
in 1985. He subsequently moved to the West Coast where he has
been practicing as a small animal veterinarian in the capacity of
Staff Veterinarian, Associate Veterinarian, and Practice Owner since
1986.
Dr. Eddy is experienced in all aspects of small animal medicine
including diagnostics, surgery, radiology, pathology, and preventive
medicine.
